To secure or close your loan, certain documents and steps are necessary. Here's a handy list so you can be prepared:

• Fulfill any conditions loan underwriter specifies at the time of your loan approval
• Obtain homeowners's insurance and any hazard insurance needed (flood, etc.)
• Get an estimate from your loan representative on closing costs
• Look over escrow documents and ask any questions before signing
• After escrow documents are signed by you, they are returned to Harbor Pointe
• When your loan is funded, the title company records it with the appropriate county
